Jaap Polak has the pleasure to invite you to our tribal art sales exhibition from the 24th to the 31st of October. We will be showing a broad selection of panggal paintings from the notable collections of Dr. Georg Höltker and Kevin Conru.
Dr. Georg Höltker (1895-1976) was an anthropologist and missionary of the Society of the Divine Word (SVD). He collected numerous panggal paintings and ethnographic artefacts during his expedition to Papua New Guinea between 1934 and 1938.
